Why the WHySE Compass exists​

One day, Monkey came out onto the veranda looking rather exhausted.
“Long day?” asked Dog.
Monkey dropped his laptop onto the table.
“They’ve been playing buzzword bingo again today.”
Dog couldn’t help but smile. “Which word this time?”
Monkey flicked through her notes.
“FID. FEED. EPC. HAZOP. SOEC. AEM.”
Dog nodded. “And?”
Monkey looked at Dog.
“At some point, I just started nodding along.”
A short pause.
“But I really just wanted to understand what they were talking about.”
Dog stood up. Went into the house. Came back with a compass and a map.
“Dog?”
“Yes?”
“What’s that?”
“The WHySE compass.”
“What’s it for?”
“So that no creature ever gets lost in the H₂ terrain again.”

What is the WHySE Compass?​

The WHySE Compass is a recurring explanatory series designed to help you find your way around the world of hydrogen.
It explains complex hydrogen and sustainability terminology in an accessible, narrative style – through conversations between the animals of the WHySE world.
Each landmark answers exactly one question. Not ten terms at once. Not everything at the same time.
After all, a compass doesn’t explain the whole world at once. It helps you avoid getting lost and determine your current location. It helps you set your sights on the next landmark.
The WHySE Compass doesn’t sell hydrogen technology. No studies. No engineering. No management handbook.
It provides guidance.
For people who want to understand hydrogen and sustainability without having to wade through consultant jargon, abbreviations and buzzwords.
