Episode 12 of the WHySE Creatures Stories

Monkey came out onto the veranda, completely exhausted.
That was a first.
Monkey was usually the first to come up with an idea. The first to find a workaround. The first to ask, ‘Is there another way?’ Monkey, the clever problem-solver.
Today she put her laptop down and held up three pieces of paper.
Buzz. Word. Bingo.
Dog looked up. “Long day?”
Monkey nodded. “They’ve been using endless abbreviations again today.”
“Which ones this time?”
Monkey flicked through her notes. “FID. FEED. EPC. HAZOP. SOEC. AEM. And loads more.”
Dog smiled.
“I know them.”
Monkey looked at him.
“The terms?”
“Those too.”
“What else?”
Dog put his pen down. “That feeling of nodding along at some point, even though you actually want to ask a question.”
Monkey looked embarrassed. “I was nodding along too.”
A short pause.
“But I just wanted to understand what they were talking about.”
That’s exactly where the WHySE Compass comes in.

Dog stood up.

“What’s that for?” asked Affe.
Dog placed the compass on the table.
“So that no creature ever gets lost in the H₂ terrain again.”
