Trilogue?
I thought that was a book in three volumes.

Monkey arrives on the veranda with three books under her arm. “Tolkien I, Tolkien II, Tolkien III.”

Snake looks over them. “Three volumes, one work – that’s how Tolkien would have seen it. And Brussels likewise: three parties, one text.”

Rat is quieter than usual. In front of her lies the working paper from Brussels that already left her at a loss in Episode 37 of the WHySE Creature Stories – and caused the headlines last week. Brussels is negotiating – but what exactly applies already?

Landmark 7 of the WHySE Compass shows:

→ who sits at the table: Commission, Council, Parliament
→ why a regulation applies immediately – and a directive only once Germany has transposed it
→ when a headline is a genuine law – and when it simply isn’t
